A. Devaraju, a KAS officer of 1998 batch, worked as Gundlupet, Madikeri, Somwarpet and Gudibande Tehsildar and after being promoted as Sub Divisional Officer, Mysore Urban Development Authority Land Acquisition Officer, Mandya Urban Development Authority Commissioner, Highway Authority land acquisition officer for four years. Now promoted to selection grade and posted as Commissioner. The Commissioner's Office is located in the Mysore Exhibition Complex.
There are 844 monuments, 16 museums, department offices in different districts of the state. There is an opportunity to work on the archeology and heritage of the country. The work is carried out by taking the advice of the previous officials, experts of the field, from different fields of the country. Devaraju said that there is also a plan to give emphasis to the legacy clubs in the colleges.
