Uddhav Thakrey Resigned

Finally, the Maha Aghadi government has fallen.

At around 9.40 pm on Wednesday, the Supreme Court gave the green signal for the trust vote.

A team of rebel MLAs also returned. All the rebels were united and did not respond to any request of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

The Governor of Maharashtra also instructed the Chief Secretary to call a special session for the vote of confidence at 11 am on Thursday.

But Uddhav Thackeray has resigned after clearly realizing that his government cannot prove majority from any source.

Uddav Thackeray, who called the press conference earlier, announced in a single thread that he was submitting his resignation and went to the Rajya Bhavan and submitted his resignation to the Governor.

Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has accepted the resignation of Uddhav Thackeray.

Finally the Maha Aghadi government has fallen. It remains to be seen who will become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

It is still not decided whether Eknath Shinde, the cause of the collapse, will become the CM or Devendra Padnavis.
